GREENVILLE, Pa. – Thiel College associate director of athletics and director of sports information Ed Topoleski ’02 announced the hiring Wednesday of Jared Wilcox 15′ as the assistant director of sports information.
 
Wilcox spent the last two years at Wesley College as the sports information graduate assistant. At Wesley, Wilcox worked under Cyrill Parham, a 2014 Thiel alumnus and SigEp who is now the director of sports information at Salisbury University.
 
At Wesley College, Wilcox served as the primary contact for several athletics programs and assisted in game day operations. He recorded in-game statistics for multiple sports and assisted in creating promotional materials, social media content and website maintenance.
 
Wilcox was a student manager for Thiel College’s sports information department in 2014-15. He also served as the public address announcer for football games during the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
 
A native of Bridgeville, Pa., Wilcox earned a master’s degree in criminal justice studies from Wesley College and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice studies from Thiel College.
